Nude figures, charcoal and white conte on colored paper. One of my favorite things to draw is the human figure. I love the play of shadow and light across skin and limbs. No matter the size, shape, age or gender of the model, there is a beauty and strength inherent in the body.
Copies of master drawings done in charcoal, ink and pencil on paper. I hated doing them at the time they were assigned but now I find it to be a very good way of practicing my draftsmanship.
